I just began this book today. It is a book about biblical interpretation. I am already two chapters in and so far I am very impressed. McQuilkin seems, thus far, to be a good writer. Content is most important of course, but it is comforting when it appears that an author is not going to make the gleaning process as painful as possible. Now worries there so far.
As far as content is concerned, McQuilkin seems right on. It has been a challenging, encouraging, and exciting read thus far. The anticipation I am experiencing right now regarding the rest of the book is comparable to that of a person who has just finished their appetizer at a new restaurant, and found it to be very pleasing. They can't wait for the rest of the meal. I am looking forward to finishing this book and Lord willing I will have a review posted in a few weeks.
